I have been appointed by the Director of the newly formed Ohio Administrative District Council to the position of Field Representative for the Pointer, Cleaner and Caulkers on a time basis. I am very appreciative of the fact that the newly formed District Council Executive Board thought enough of my experience in the restoration field to put me in this position. I look forward to representing our PCC members.

MEMBERS WHO HAVE PASSED

This November we lost three Fifty Year Gold Card members: Brothers Harris Dolcini, Tony Mariola, and Wilhelm Behrens. From the Executive Board and all the members of Local 5, we wish to convey our most heartfelt sympathies to these members’ family and friends.

SERVICE AWARDS

For the month of November Brother Joseph A. Immornino became a 50-year Gold Card Life Member. From the membership and the Executive Board we thank you for all your many years of service to our Union.

Pre-Apprentice Training Class

This is notification to all Local Unions and their members that Pre-Apprentice training will begin Monday, January 7^th,ending March 28^th, 2008. The program will be for 12 weeks. Each week will consist of 5 days at 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday. SAFETY TRAINING

There are no classes scheduled as of this date.

NOTE: You must pre-register for the classes available. To register you must submit a check to the NOADC of BAC in the amount of $20.00. The check will be refunded to you for attending the class. This helps us to curb abuse of the safety training available yet results in no actual cost of training to those who attend

All classes will be held at the NOADC Training Center, 5171 Hudson Drive, Hudson Ohio 44236

APPRENTICE APPLICATIONS

Local 5 is currently taking applications for the apprenticeship program Thursday and Fridays from 8am till 11:30am at the Union Hall 4205 Chester Avenue Cleveland Ohio 44103.
