SERVICE AWARDS

For the month of June we have Brother Charles E. Freehoffer Jr. become a 25-year member.  Brothers Sinclair Chapman, George Klump, Neil Olivo, Gerhard Schade, Ronald Skillicorn all became 50-year Gold Card Life members. From the membership and the Executive Board, we thank you for all your many years of service to our Union.

Deaths

For the month of May we lost 57 year-gold card member William W. Witsaman. Having worked with Brother Witsaman on a few jobs when I was a young man I can attest that Bill was a fine example of what a Union mason represents in respect for his Union Brothers and respect for the Contractor by always giving him good days work.   We also lost 59 year-gold card member James A. Turle. From the Executive Board and all the members of Local 5 we wish to extend our most heartfelt sympathies to their families and friends.
