MEMBERS WHO HAVE PASSED
For the month of August we had 50-year Gold Card
Brothers James T. Taras, Barney A. Cepulo and Arthur C. Martz pass away. It saddens me
greatly to report on the sudden passing of Brother Ross Pagano at the age of 59 years old.
Ross was a widely respected member of our Union. As a trustee on our Pension Board he,
along with the other Trustees, helped devise the plan that enabled our pension recover
from the market crash. Ill always have good memories having worked with and gone on
a few fishing trips with Ross. Ross was a good Union person having been a Stewart in the
steel mills on many occasions. Perfect gentlemen in all respects. From the Executive Board
and all the Members of Local 5 we wish to extend our most heartfelt sympathies to their
family and friends.
